Reflective

Finally made it through hump day, which is my longest day at work. It was a really odd one because of the odd people that came in today. I am really exhausted as I am every week on hump day. I spent today skimming over and re-evaluating my life and where I stand in all aspects of my life. It's good to do that every now and then. I am learning what I will tolerate and what I won't tolerate as far as individuals go. I am getting set in my ways and don't feel like I need to change or conform to what someone else thinks I should or shouldn't be. This train of thought is very liberating. My Brother

My brother woke me up with a slightly chilling call this morning. He just called to see if I was okay. He had a horrible nightmare about me being killed in a car accident. He told me to be careful on my drive to work today. That was really sweet of him. I really really love my little brother and he loves me too. Work Lust

Today was my first day back at work after my Thanksgiving holiday. I had a four day weekend and it was very hard to get up and go to work today. At one point I was so sleepy I couldn't concentrate. This is the beginning of holiday hell in a retail environment. On a more personal note, I am seriously lusting over someone at work. I won't reveal who he is, but it's krazy. I can't quite explain why I am so sexually drawn to this guy, I am just drawn to him. I have had more than a few racy dreams and daydreams about him. I don't believe anything will ever happen between us, but it's nice to let my imagination run wild from time to time. Elusive Love

Finding love has been an insurmountable task. Just when I think I have found it, or whenever I think I have made a connection, it vanishes into thin air. Most of the men I have encountered are just looking for sex, emotionally unavailable or not looking to settle down anytime soon. At this point I am going to just say fuck it and forget about looking for a mate. It's exhausting and with work, I don't have a tremendous amount of free time. I am done searching.
